Why Do I like Shivanna?

       I was, am and always will be a huge fan of Dr. Raj, whom I consider to be the best entertainer ever. It is no accident that my love for Dr. Raj also percolated towards Shivanna. Initially I gave Shivanna a shot as the son of Dr. Raj. Within a short time he was able to earn my respect and love for his individual achievements.

       I love Shivanna because he is talented, caring and humble. He has proven that he is worthy of carrying the Rajkumar name. He has also shown exceptional courage in renouncing remakes since 2002. While he has made dubious choices with some of his movies and producers/directors, there is no doubt that he is second only to Dr. Raj in talent and success. He has also become an awesome performer and is not afraid to experiment with different roles. Further, just like his illustrious father, he has a great outlook on life.  He does not get too high because of success nor does he get too low due to failures. His behavior is a constant and takes things with an even keel. That, my friends, is the mark of greatness.

Why do we like a person????

1. Physical Attractiveness:
        "Beauty is only skin deep." Well, it seems that initially it is more than that. Many studies have led to the idea that physical attractiveness draws people to one another. Although most psychologists agree that physical appearance affects the level of attraction between two people, they are in disagreement with deciding why this is such. Some suggest that people are attracted to a "better-looking" person because being associated with "beautiful" people enhances our social standing and self-esteem.

2. Proximity:
         The closer two people live to each other the more likely it is for them to like one another. Research has shown that the best single predictor of whether two people are friends is how far apart they live. This idea leads into the next one.

3. Familiarity:
        One of the major reasons proximity creates liking is that it increases familiarity. Generally speaking, the more a person interacts with another person, the more attraction builds between them.

4. Similarity:
        This idea does not say that soccer players will marry soccer players. Instead, it makes claims that those interested in sports are attracted to those interested in sports. Statistics show that people who pair off do so according to similarities in race, age, religion, education, physical characteristics, and other general characteristics.

         So is my answer that the above reasons are the reasons and also not the reasons to like SIZZLING STAR SHIVRAJKUMAR, I may not say, I like but will say I admire.

5. Admiration:
      "When a nation gives birth to a man who is able to produce a great thought, another is born who is able to understand and admire it "
"Admiration is the daughter of ignorance."

My admiration all started with Tuvvi Tuvvi and still reigning high with Shiva Shiva.. This is not blind, and is the felicitation to a person who has come from the tallest peak (RAJKUMAR) in the universe and trying to reach the same with his sincere efforts.
Shivrajkumar never thought twice to accept his faults, may that be his looks or the way he speaks or his failures, this attitude actually made him KING of MANY HEARTS, the guts displayed by him to talk negative about himself makes him BOLD and his heart to understand the feelings of people off screen and on screen made him BEAUTIFUL.
During success he never went high, during failure he never ran low. Genius in the game of celluloid life.

Never get nervous or exited when things are his side or against him. We can't find success or failures in his face. That has made him still a successful hero in the industry.

MAN OF VERSATILE: - If you people go through his all around 90 movies, you will come to know what a versatile actor he is. Not only he has done versatile character, but he has justified those characters. All those are huge hit in box office and appreciated by both media and audience. His body language, way of speaking, looks are very well adjusted any kind of roles. Best examples are OM, NAMMAURA MANDARA HUVE, ANAND, JOGI, ANNA THANGI, above mentioned movies are huge hit and all are different kind of movies.

MAN OF HUMANITY: - It should be there in any actor in India, because here fan's are not only looking for his idol's movies but also follow there life style, that is the passion we Indian's have towards our idols. So coming to this point SHIVANNA is great, as a legendry son never showed any bad attitude. Just I am observing Shivanna from so many years never listened any where bad about shivanna from senior's to his juniors in the industry.

        ShivaRajkumar, Heartfully called as Shivanna. I feel Shivanna is the only actor after the Legend Dr.Rajkumar (was lovingly called as "Annavru" - Big Brother) to be addressed as Big Brother in Karnataka.

         Shivanna being elder son of the Legend led a very normal life in Madras (Now Chennai). It was 1986 when "Anand" the first movie of Shivanna was relased - The movie created a history & a Star was born. As a kid I remember "Rathasapthami" the song "Shilegalu Sangithava Haadive..." till date it is one of the awesome & my favourite song. Shivanna is the only actor after the lengend to have acted in varieties of roles from a Village boy, Student, Rowdy, Illitrate, Lover boy, Elder Brother, King, & many more..... Shivanna has been facilitated with the title of "Natyasarvabowma" for his excellent Dancing. I wish shivanna to do more great movies & follow the foot steps of his legend father.

This is the kind of impact Shivarajkumar has given on Namma KARUNAADA Janathe and I being a part of it has felt no different from it. TAVARIGE BAA TANGI was the first movie i saw on big screen and was so much emotionally down that i ended up tears the whole of the movie. He had done the character in a way that every sister would place their respective brothers in that place.

           Idhu ANNA na part aadre mathondh film banthu and thats my ALL TIME BEST MOVIE of SHIVANNA and aa film bagge "Enendhu naa helalaare..Maunave kaadidhe... " Yes its RISHI with LOVE... idaralli ANNA aagi maatra valla.. Obba Maga naagi Tandhe Taayi ge, Tamma naagi obba Akka ge, Preethi yaagi tanna Preethi ge, otnalli Perfect Man aagi Abhinayisidru namma Shivanna... ee film na nodi nanganthu SHIVANNA innu jaasti ne ista aadha...

          He is popularly known as HATRICK HERO of Kannada Film Industry by ALL of us and idakke karana yenu antha yellarigu gothu naan helo avashyakathe illa alva..:) Idh aldhe he has another popular name to his Credit. Adhu yen gotha "KAAGE BANGAARA"antha. howdhu popularity sikkidh takshna ne nammantha Abhimaanigalu ondh kade idre, innodh kade kanditha virodhisoru iddhe irtaare alva and here again he is no different from that. aadre they have given him a perfect name. Why Do I like Shivanna?

          I like his way of acting whichever the roll it may be .. he is flexible means he will suit to any kind of role .

second, i like his stylish in acting ,dance and comedy roles .

Being a great actor and son of great actor Dr.Raj , his simpleness, hardworking and his concern towards society is very good . he is real human with simplicity .

I like his dance very much ,and his smile and his variety roles. still thousand more reasons .... totally i`m diehard fan of him.

Years later into the future, when people will sit down and talk about the history of KFI, they cannot get an accurate picture if they don't acknowledge one man's contribution to this great film industry. He is also an inspiration to many. Inspite of lacking the so called "good features" of a hero like looks, height, physique etc...., he has conquered the hearts of kannadigas solely by his immense talent and hard work. Yes I am talking of the one and only ShivaRajKumar who is today one of the best actors in India. He has come a long way from his stellar debut in "Anand" to his present films. He has faced many downs in his career and while such situations would have killed the careers of ordinary actors, Shivanna has always bounced back like a phoenix. Many people have been jealous of his parentage and always try to bring him down saying he achieved fame only because of his father. If this statement is analysed in an impartial manner, this deduction falls flat on its face. In this world, we can possibly only put one or two steps ahead with parent's support and after that we are on our own. Shivanna has proved this again and again by giving stellar hits when people wrote him off. In 1995, people had given up on him saying he is finished. Yet he came back with "Om"...a film which captured the imagination of an entire generation. Who else past or present can act like that. His character Satya had that subdued aggression which is very difficult to achieve. Of course some credit goes to the director. But Shivanna gave a stellar performance.

After this he gave numerous other blockbusters and again in 2005 he had slowly begun to fade. Again people tended to write him off which is exactly when he answered his critics with a commanding performance in "Jogi". This film silenced all his critics for a million years. The performance again was impeccable. This film brought back the kannada audience to the theatres. Many non-kannadigas started to take notice of KFI. All had to agree that here was an actor who could not be matched by anyone.

Shivanna is a multi award winning actor who has acted in sort of roles. Perhaps he is second to only his illustrious father in terms of versatality in roles. Shivanna is the only actor who can perform in a rowdyism based emotional film like Jogi....make it a blockbuster and then follow it up with a sentimental family drama like Anna Thangi and make it also a blockbuster.

For me, his best performance has to be in Gandugali Kumararama. Those who missed this film missed the acting performance of a lifetime. This performance of Shivu deserved a national award. Im proud of him and so are all his fans because he had the guts and courage to act in this film.

Like all human beings, Shivanna has some negatives. Chiefly being he doesn't select good roles all the time. He brings friendships into his professional life which is good in one way but it harms his career acting in some below average films. Thayiya madilu was one example. Shivanna should learn from past lessons.

The future film list of Shivanna makes one jump with happiness.........Satya in Love, Madesha,Cobra, Lava Kusha etc....are the most anticipated films....

I know that Shivanna will definitely give another huge industry changing blockbuster soon.....greater than OM and Jogi put together....Its only a matter of time.....
